MicroStrategy Developer: Role in Brief
As a key member of the Healthcare Technology Solutions team, the DeveloperAdministrator will provide MicroStrategy developmentdeverlopment and implementation support to both a development environment and a production hosted environment (UnixWindows and OracleSQL Server) with clients nationwide.?

Responsibilities include developmentadministration and support of multiple, possibly clustered, MicroStrategy Web, Intelligence Server and Narrowcast environments.?

Specific responsibilities include:
' Participating in all aspects of data warehouse/?analytical projects'including conceptualization, design, construction, testing, selection, deployment, and post-implementation support
' Assisting users in the creation of ad hoc data warehouse queries as needed.?
' Partnering with the business analysts to deliver timely and accurate information to business users.?
' QA and production migrations of MicroStrategy objects.?
' Providing 3rd level support for technical issues and troubleshooting report design.?
' Analyzing existing processes and reports and identify areas for improvement
' Serving as technical expert providing input to application design regarding production tuning and administration requirements.?

Preferred background and technical skills:
' BS in Computer Science or a related field
' Solid experience working in a UnixWindows and MicroStrategy environment
' Understanding of Microstrategy implementation in web portal environment
' 2-5 years hands-on development experience with MicroStrategy 7i /? 8.?0 including Desktop, Architect
' Strong SQL skills, Administrator, and working knowledge of Oracle 10gserver support
' Familiarity with data modeling and manipulation tools, such as ER/?WIN, ER Studio, etc.?
' Strong SQL skills
' Understanding of common data warehousing methodology and architecture
' Understanding of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tools
' Proficient in understanding of advanced report development and design as well as Intelligence Server configuration settings for performance tuning
' Experience in administration of MicroStrategy Web and Intelligence servers across multiple environments
' Experience in supporting multiple business customers and multiple MicroStrategy projects.?
' Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with technical and business team members.?
